Privacy Policy for Reimager
This section describes how we handle data for the Reimager macOS application.

Reimager (macOS app)
What the app does not do:
- No account creation or sign-in.
- No in-app analytics, tracking, or ads.
- No data collection or transmission to our servers.
- No background uploads of your images or logs.
How your images are processed:
- All image conversions occur locally on your Mac.
-
You choose files and folders to convert (e.g., via drag-and-drop or an open dialog).
Reimager only accesses the paths you select. -
Reimager uses system components and bundled libraries to perform conversions;
it does not send your images to any cloud service.
App permissions:
-
Reimager requests file access only when you choose files/folders.
It does not scan other locations. -
Reimager does not request access to Contacts, Calendars, Camera, Microphone, Location,
Bluetooth, or similar protected resources.
Third-party libraries inside the app:
-
Reimager bundles image processing libraries (e.g., ImageMagick components)
for on-device conversions. These libraries run locally and do not transmit your content. -
If your macOS supports Apple ImageIO for certain formats, the app may use Apple’s
on-device encoder/decoder. Again, no data leaves your device because of this.
Crash/diagnostics:
-
We do not collect crash reports directly. If you obtained Reimager from the Mac App Store
and opt in to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may share anonymized crash logs
with us under Apple’s policies.
Privacy Policy for SPO2er
This section describes how we handle data for the SPO2er iOS and watchOS applications.

SPO2er (iOS & watchOS apps)
General design:
- SPO2er is designed to read your blood oxygen data from Apple’s Health app (HealthKit).
-
The app focuses on helping you view and trend your existing SPO₂ data
on iPhone and Apple Watch complications. - All Health data used by SPO2er stays on your devices and within Apple’s ecosystems.
What the app does not do:
- No account creation or sign-in.
- No in-app analytics, tracking, or ads.
- No transmission of your Health data to our servers.
- No sharing of your Health data with third-party servers or advertisers.
Health data (Blood Oxygen / SPO₂):
-
SPO2er reads your blood oxygen samples from Apple’s Health app using HealthKit,
after you explicitly grant permission. -
The app currently reads only the data types it needs (for example, Blood Oxygen)
to display recent values, trends, and complications. -
SPO2er does not modify or delete your existing Health data.
It does not write new Blood Oxygen samples to the Health app. -
Your SPO₂ values are processed on-device and may be shared between the iOS and watchOS apps
via Apple’s on-device frameworks (such as WatchConnectivity and App Groups)
so the apps and complications can stay in sync.
App permissions:
-
SPO2er uses HealthKit to request read access to specific data types (e.g., Blood Oxygen).
You control this access in the Health app and can revoke it at any time. -
SPO2er does not request access to Contacts, Calendars, Camera, Microphone, Location,
or similar non-essential permissions.
On-device processing and communication:
-
The iOS app may fetch recent SPO₂ values from HealthKit and share a summary with the
paired Apple Watch so the watch app and complications can display them. -
This communication uses Apple’s built-in, on-device communication frameworks and
local storage. We do not operate servers for SPO2er, and we do not see your readings. -
You can remove the app at any time from your iPhone and/or Apple Watch.
Removing the app does not delete your Health data from the Health app.
Manual test values:
- SPO2er may allow you to manually enter test values (for example, for visualization or testing).
-
These manual values are used inside the app and communicated between your
iPhone and Apple Watch only as needed for display/testing. -
Manual test values are not written into Apple Health as real
medical measurements and are not sent to our servers.
Crash/diagnostics:
-
We do not collect usage analytics from within SPO2er.
If you obtained SPO2er from the App Store and have opted in to share diagnostics with developers,
Apple may provide us with anonymized crash or performance logs under Apple’s policies.
Not a medical device:
-
SPO2er is intended for informational and wellness-supporting purposes only.
It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. - Always consult a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about your health.
Website (xcitationsoftware.com)
This section applies to visitors of our Site, regardless of whether you use Reimager or SPO2er.
-
Server logs:
Standard web server logs (e.g., IP address, user agent, date/time) may be retained briefly
for security and maintenance. -

We aim to avoid non-essential cookies. If the Site later uses analytics or embeds that set cookies,
we will update this policy and provide appropriate notices/controls. -

If you contact us, we will use your message
solely to respond and resolve your request, and retain it only as long as necessary.
Purchases via Apple
If you purchase Reimager or SPO2er through the Mac App Store or App Store,
Apple is the merchant of record. Any billing information is handled by Apple in accordance
with Apple’s policies. We do not receive your full payment details.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion,
or objection. Because we do not collect in-app usage data or maintain user profiles on our own
servers for Reimager or SPO2er, many rights requests will result in confirmation that we do not
hold your personal data. You can
contact us for any privacy questions.
Children’s Privacy
Reimager, SPO2er, and our Site are not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Users
We do not operate user databases for Reimager or SPO2er.
Any website contact emails you send to us may be processed in the country where
our email provider stores messages.
Data Security
Reimager and SPO2er perform processing locally on your devices.
For the Site and email, we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
to help protect information, but no method is 100% secure.
